“Can You Dig It?” Starring Chuck D Announced

Announced in an exclusive with SPIN.com, we produced upcoming Audible Original “Can You Dig It?” - a 5-pt docu-drama about the South Bronx gang The Ghetto Brothers and the origins of Hip-Hop culture - with Executive Producer and Narrator, Chuck D (Public Enemy), in conjunction with show creators and “sister company”, PB&J Productions.

SOUND+FISSION handled all audio production duties for the show: voice-over recording, dialogue editing/assembly, original score (composed, performed and produced by Bryan Master), music editing/supervision, sound design, Mixing and Mastering.

“Can You Dig It?” will be available 8/10/23 on Audible, the eve of the 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop.

SOUND+FISSION Gets “EXCESSIVE” with Their 8th Audible Original

SOUND+FISSION are proud to announce the release of Audible Original, “Excessive” - their 8th Audible Original collaboration with Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video. S+F assumed all post-production duties including Dialogue Editing/Assembly, Sound Design, Original Score, Music Editing, Music Supervision, Mixing and Mastering. The show is written/created by Emmy-winner Dan Robert and stars Chloe Fineman, Joshua Jackson & Kim Cattrall. The original score was composed, produced and performed by Bryan Master.

SOUND+FISSION Release 3 Audible Originals in 3 Months

SOUND+FISSION has a very busy late-summer/early-fall 2022 with the release of three Audible Originals: Augusts’ “DANIEL X: GENESIS” (starring Michael Cimino, Abilgail Breslin and Mercedes Ruehl), Septembers’ “Motivated!” and Octobers’ “THE METHOD”. Daniel X and The Method, both come from the James Patterson universe; while Motivated! was written/directed by Nia Vardalos, and starring Vardalos, Rob Riggle and Tom Hanks. Bryan Master composed the Main Title/Theme Song for Daniel X and was lead composer on both Motivated! and The Method. All three titles were produced in partnership with Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video.

“The Coldest Case” Gets a 2022 Audie Award Nomination

In addition to winning both Earphone and Lovie Awards, “The Coldest Case” (an Audible Original) was nominated for Best Audio Drama in the 2022 Audie Awards - S+F produced the post-Audio in partnership with Audible, James Patterson Entertainment & Broadway Video. The script was written by Patterson, Aaron Tracy and Oscar-winning writer, Ryan Silbert (for Origin Story).

SOUND+FISSION Behind Two of Audible’s Top Performing Titles of 2021

James Patterson-penned Audible Originals ‘The Coldest Case’ was the 2nd most-listened to Original and the 10th most-listened to piece of content on the entire platform, Globally, in 2021; and ‘The Guilty’ was the 8th most-listened to original for the year. Both series were in partnership with Broadway Video.

Propagate Content Taps SOUND+FISSION as Library Supplier

SOUND+FISSION is proud to announce a partnership with Ben Silverman’s Propagate Content, including access to the S+F Music Library for linear cues, as well as helping scale audio-first offerings. We will be supplying music for programming across Discovery+, A&E Networks and others.

SOUND+FISSION Signs on for 6th & 7th Audible Original Series in Partnership with Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video

The still To Be Announced titles will be another chapter out of the James Patterson library, as well as a comedy from writers Rob Riggle & Nia Vardalos will be the 6th & 7th Audible collaborations between S+F and Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video, respectively.

S+F will take on all post-audio production duties, and additionally, Master will compose the original score.

Production begins late 2021 and will be released in 2022.

Audible Releases SOUND+FISSION-Produced ‘The Guilty’ by James Patterson, Starring John Lithgow

Audible Originals has released the 4th scripted-audio collaboration between SOUND+FISSION and Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video, called, The Guilty, starring John Lithgow. The series is another page out of the James Patterson crime thriller universe.

S+F has assumed Dialogue Editing/Assembly, Sound Design, Music Supervision, Additional Score & Editing and Mixing duties.

Directed & scored by Broadway veterans Stephen Brackett and Daniel Kluger, respectively; EP’d by Brian Parrish for Broadway Video, the series is available only on Audible.

SOUND+FISSION Signs on to New James Patterson Series with Lorne Michaels’ Broadway Video; Master to Compose Main Theme

In their 5th outing together, Lorne Michaels’ production house, Broadway Video, has tapped SOUND+FISSION again for a still To Be Announced series from the Youth Audience (YA) universe of James Patterson.

S+F will handle post-audio production duties, including Editing, Sound Design, Music Supervision and Mixing. EP Bryan Master will compose the Main Theme - a diegetic song that the shows’ fictitious band writes/performs, throughout.

Giancarlo Vulcano will compose the Score; Brian Parrish will EP from Broadway Video; and Evan Frankfort & Bryan Master will EP from S+F.

The series started production Summer 2021. Release date TBD.

Oscar-winning Believe Ent Group to partner with S+F on new Audible Series

S+F is partnering with Oscar-winning Production house Believe Entertainment Group (Kobe Bryant’s Dear, Basketball) on their 1st of a multi-slate agreement with Audible Originals.

The series, still To Be Announced, is available only on Audible.

S+F will assume all production duties; Bryan Master will compose the Score. Dan Goodman will EP from Believe Ent, with Co-Producer Master; and Evan Frankfort & Master will EP the post-audio production.

Emma Roberts to star; casting is still underway. The series is currently scheduled to release Fall 2023 Only on Audible.

S+F Artist Don McCloskey Launches First in Flight on AppleTV’s Mythic Quest

S+F Management Artist, singer-songwriter Don McCloskey, released First in Flight, the first single from his forthcoming album ‘The Chaos and the Beauty’ in late June 2021.

The song is featured as the End Credits to the Season 2 finale of AppleTV+’s Mythic Quest, has received major market radio play (like Philadelphia’s WMMR) and has been added to Spotify Editorial’s playlist, Totally Stress Free and is currently nearing 200K streams on Spotify, alone, in the first few months.

‘The Chaos and The Beauty’, is set for an early 2022 release (Lemon Hill Records).
